Ottawa’s legendary Cooper Brothers, who rose to fame in the ’70s and ’80s with their country-southern rock albums, are marking 50 years together with an anniversary show at Meridian Theatre @ Centrepointe on November 27, 2024.
Formed by Brian and Dick Cooper alongside Terry “T.K.” King, the band has made a lasting impression on Canada’s country-rock scene, and this show promises a nostalgic journey through their catalog.
Their sound, often likened to that of southern rock legends like The Allman Brothers, gained international traction after signing with Capricorn Records, a label known for its roster of southern rock heavyweights. Throughout their career, the Cooper Brothers graced the Billboard Hot 100 and shared stages with acts including James Taylor, Joe Cocker, and The Doobie Brothers.
