Jeremy Dutcher is one of the best artists around. A classically-trained First Nations singer and pianist from Tobique First Nation, he burst on to the Canadian music scene with his Polaris-winning debut Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa, which combines traditional Maliseet songs from wax recordings, contemporary classical composition, and Dutcher’s phenomenal voice. The singer expanded his instrumentation on the Bluesfest stage for a moving performance.
