The morning of Day 7 at Chamberfest saw a kids-friendly show by Montreal’s Quatuor Andara, who then participated in a masterclass with Quatour Danel and three young local chamber musicians: Carolyn Xiao, Sandrine Long-Albert, and Ryan Shen.
To close the night, there was a double bill of Simon Trpĉeski & Friends. At Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre, the quintet kept it classic with Grieg and Shostakovich, but the ensemble let loose during their Chamberfringe performance, thrilling the crowd with jazz-laced Macedonian folk music.
