Canadian blues guitar legend Colin James headlined the River Stage on night three of Bluesfest. The large crowd were certainly not disappointed with a set of James’ fiery blues guitar classics. Backed by a tight band, which also featured earlier act Anders Drerup on rhythm guitar, James mentioned that he was so happy to be back at Bluesfest and that he couldn’t even remember how many times he had played the festival over the years. Add one more successful show to the books.
Saturday was also the ever-popular country night, with Luke Combs headlining the main stage. Other acts included The Revivalists, Emilie Steele and the Deal, and the Nigerian musician Femi Kuti.
