Creative Continuum is an annual conference presented by Arts Network Ottawa. It brings together local and national creative experts and business leaders in Ottawa on May 10, 2024.
Creative Continuum is led by creative and business experts, inviting the public to participate in vibrant discussions bridging Ottawa art, entrepreneurship, and creative industries. You can expect panel discussions, artist talks, hands-on workshops, and a networking opportunity.
This year’s theme is “Gardening,” urging participants to view our local arts community as more than an ecosystem: it is a garden requiring cooperation, cultivation, and intentional care. Topics to be explored at the conference include climate action, place-making, and creative entrepreneurship that bring together community, artists, and change-makers.
New this year is a Pitching Contest. Five successful applicants will receive free conference passes and an opportunity to present their pitch in front of a live audience and a panel of judges for the chance to win $1000 in seed funding for their project (courtesy of Desjardins Ontario Credit Union). Project proposals must respond to the topics and challenges addressed in this year’s Creative Continuum conference.
