Headliners Foo Fighters nearly took the place apart last night at Bluesfest, in front of a sold-out crowd warmed up by White Reaper. The other stages featured fantastic performances by Adrian Sutherland, Black Joe Lewis, Katie Tupper, MONOWHALES, My Son the Hurricane, Guy Belanger, Lime Cordiale, and River City Junction.

Vernacular is a new online journal, launched in May 2023, that welcomes submissions in all different mediums, including but not limited to fiction, nonfiction, poetry, photography, visual art and multimedia, as long as they relate to the theme vernacular: “anything that reveals a sense of place.”
The third and final night of free concerts at the 2023 Tim Hortons Ottawa Dragonboat Festival was a sweltering one. Like the previous nights, the lineup was all-Canadian talent, featuring local opener Sister Swire, followed by Toronto duo, The Darcys and headliners Bedouin Soundclash.
