Hello friends and readers! We wanted to give you a quick update on Apartment 613’s Patreon, which has been growing steadily since its launch last November. The support of our patrons has allowed us to hire more part-time staff who help us bring you more of the great arts and culture content you love and expect from Apt613, including food, music, and performing arts editors, as well as casual reporters and editors. One of the perks that patrons have access to is regular ticket giveaways for events happening in and around Ottawa-Gatineau. For example, in the past few months we’ve given away tickets to see Odyssey Theatre’s The Miser in Strathcona Park, the Festibière event in Gatineau, and the Ottawa Grassroots Festival. More giveaways are in the works, as we move toward rewarding our patrons more regularly. Whenever a giveaway pops up, all our patrons are notified so they can put their name in the metaphorical hat!
