A short but sweet half-hour set by Ottawa-based duo Etoile Noire drew a roomful of listeners into The Papery at Bank and Fifth early Friday night as part of Marvest, CityFolk Festival’s selection of locally produced music.
CityFolk Festival continued Friday night along with performances at various venues along Bank Street for Marvest, a feast of locally produced music.
Étoile Noire perform two sets on Friday September 15. Admission is free to all Marvest series concerts presented by CityFolk.
The Chocolate Hot Pockets, Slimmoore and the Newsoulproject, Expanda Fuzz, Morris Ogbowu, The Heavy Medicine Band, and Okies are among the 50+ artists performing pop-up concerts during CityFolk Festival weekend.
