Salon des Bananes

On Sept. 20, a new immersive art experience–Databells–will be unveiled at Salon Des Bananes. I talked to artist Rich Loen and got a sneak preview of Databells.

Ottawa’s newest gallery space occupies the showroom of a former tire retailer at the corner of Woodroffe and Carling. Loen Design doesn’t shy away from the location’s retail past though, the huge sign that once advertised tires, now sports a banana on top and mysterious sayings underneath that change regularly.
