The 45th Ottawa Jazz fest kicked off this weekend on high with standout performances from The Roots and a lineup of exceptional talent to kick off the summer festival season.

The snow is melting, which can only mean one thing: summer festival season is right around the corner! Bluesfest and Jazzfest have announced their full season lineups, so here’s a little about what you can expect from the latter.

The 37th annual TD Ottawa Jazz Festival runs from June 22 to July 2 at Confederation Park and several nearby venues.

Bill Frisell, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Maceo Parker & the Ray Charles Orchestra, Joss Stone, Mavis Staples, Hiromi, Pierre Kwenders, Caravan Palace, and many more join the Jazzfest 2017 lineup.
