Hollerado had a triumphant night last night at the Algonquin Commons Theatre.

Bluesfest is presenting outdoor concerts at Lansdowne Park from Sept. 23 to 25. Kicking off the weekend, the Thursday night lineup includes performances from rising singer-songwriter Lauryn Macfarlane, Oji-Cree multi-instrumentalist Aysanabee, indie rock band Tokyo Police Club, and Montreal-based Half Moon Run.

While the Friday night Bronson Centre Music Theatre show has received most of the publicity as the “last Ottawa show,” those willing to make the drive out to Neat Coffee Shop in Burnstown on Sunday will get to see the band in an intimate venue, much closer to their 2007 roots.
