Fresh ideas, fresh stories and an amazing opportunity to check out fresh local theatre? Sounds like the Fresh Meat Festival is back! The 13th annual Fresh Meat Festival, hosted at Arts Court Theatre, takes place from Oct. 23–26, and Apt613 has all the details.
Although Fresh Meat Fest isn’t until October, the local theatre festival is getting ready to open up its submissions portal from May 8 to June 9 for talented artists to join their lineup come fall. Apt613 sat down with Cullen Elijah McGrail–the producer and media and marketing director of the festival–to learn more.

This week is Week 2 of Fresh Meat! Starting with plays on Thursday, October 20, the festival ends this Saturday, October 22, with a late-night closing party from 10pm to 2am at Arts Court.
