The final night of Bluesfest features a lineup of indie pop, hip hop, blues, the next generation of talented Ottawa artists, and a very intriguing finale—The Smile, a side project for Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood.
Whether you had other plans Friday night (doubtful) or just want to relive the moments (likely), here are the best photos from Bluesfest Day 7.
It’s going to be a party Saturday night, but don’t let the megastars Ludacris and Pitbull steal all your attention. Stars and talents abound across all four stages.
Whether you missed out on Mumford and Sons (the 2010s! the hipsters! Ugh, right in my twenty-something heart!) or want to relive the magic, Apt613 has the best photos from Landon Entwistle and Curtis Perry for you.
It’s a pop-heavy Friday night at Bluesfest—unless, of course, you’re cookin’ gumbo with the Sauce Boos. From indie legends to contemporary pop stars, it’ll be a fun Friday night.
Sunday’s lineup features the second alt-rock headliner of the festival, with notable names spread out across the stages. We just have to hope Mother Nature cooperates and keeps the rain at bay!
Jazz! Brass! Rock! Robert Plant (a genre of his own)! Apt613’s photographers caught it all on Day 3 of Bluesfest. Relive Saturday night with these photos, and get ready for Day 4 with our preview.
Day 2 at Bluesfest featured Jupiter and Okwess, Melo Griffith, PUP, Billy Talent, Digging Roots, and headliners Weezer and Thundercat, among others. If you missed the night, or want to relive it, check out photos by Landon Entwistle, Curtis Perry, and Anna Karperien.
The weather is hot, the music is hotter, and the first weekend of Bluesfest is here, with a wide variety of artists, from rookies to absolute LEGENDS. Get ready for local talent and Robert Plant—need we say more?
Day 1 at Bluesfest featured Brea Lawrenson, bbno$, Dax, Lindsay Ell, J.C, Mikhail Laxton, Melissa Lamm, Son Little, and John Németh, among others. Photos by Landon Entwistle and Curtis Perry captured the evening.
With an opening day in the middle of a heat wave, Mother Nature certainly put the ‘”hot” in “hot country night” yesterday. Shifting gears, Day 2’s main stage is all about rock, while the other stages have an eclectic mix of artists.
As the heat settles into the city this week, the summer is clearly in full swing, which means the largest music festival in town is kicking off today. Stephane Dubord previews the acts on stage at Day 1 of Bluesfest.
