“Orchards” by Oddeline // Apt613 missed Oddeline aka Marianne Keuleman’s release of “Orchards” as a single in 2020, so we’re guilty of sleeping on the Ottawa artist whose debut EP, Fated to Drown, came out this past weekend. It’s an outstanding record self-produced by Oddeline from the songwriting to artwork. [Bandcamp]

“Unexpected” by Unsociably High // The jazzy, indie rock duo of Tiffany Wallace (vocals) and Brendan Bartlett (guitar), aka Unsociably High, is joined by Shawn Scissons (drums) on their new record, Peak of Conclusion. The seven-track album is a followup to Unsociably High’s self-titled debut EP released in spring 2020. Looking forward to more from the band! And maybe one day a live show. [Bandcamp]
