Well-known across Canada for his storytelling prowess and meticulous compositions, Andy Shauf is bringing an even more intimate and introspective version of his show to Ottawa. He’s performing a solo set at the Bronson Centre on October 13.
Shauf has captivated Ottawa audiences before, like his memorable Bluesfest set in 2022, and his last Bronson Centre show in March 2023. This time, he’s leaving the band at home to tour on the strength of his songs alone—and they’re such good songs. His ability to craft entire worlds and narratives through songs, coupled with his distinct voice, makes this solo show a chance to witness Shauf’s songwriting brilliance up close, for what it is.
Opening the Sunday night show will be Le Ren, the Montreal-based folk artist AKA Lauren Spear, whose gentle yet poignant sound complements Shauf’s introspective style. Doors open at 7pm… and Monday is a stat holiday!
