X Ambassadors made their way to the Bronson Theatre on Thursday night as part of their Townie North American tour. Lead vocalist Sam Harris walked on stage and immediately engaged the crowd, leading a call and response with the audience of the chorus of their hit “Renegade”. The band’s performance showcased their versatility over a decade of releasing music, seamlessly blending rock, pop, and alternative together. Hits like “Jungle” and “Unsteady” had the crowd belting out catchy hooks, while new tracks from their latest album had fans invested.
Opening the night was Seattle’s Noah Gundersen. The singer-songwriter, accompanied by just his guitar, performed songs from across his catalogue dating back to 2008. Gundersen’s voice echoed throughout the theatre, at times having to step back from the microphone with a full, growling range.
