Thursday night, NEEDTOBREATHE brought their signature blend of rock, folk, and soul to the Bronson Theatre, delivering an electrifying performance that captivated fans from start to finish.
The band opened with “Great Night,” instantly igniting the crowd. The harmonies were tight, and the passion in their voices echoed throughout the venue. As the night progressed, they seamlessly wove through hits like “Something Beautiful” and even a few covers from the likes of Tom Petty and The Animals.
The band had several acoustic moments, during which all members came to the front to provide a stripped-back arrangement of songs such as “Washed by the Water. ” This arrangement had the audience singing along with fervour. These moments reminded everyone of the band’s roots and the personal stories behind their music.
Lead vocalist Bear Rinehart was his charismatic self, engaging the audience with anecdotes and heartfelt gratitude for their support and, towards the end of the show, jumping into the crowd to greet eager fans. The chemistry among the band members was evident, trading solos with each other throughout the show, and was a testament to more than 20 years of performing together.
Opening the night was Tall Heights, the New England duo who were the perfect introduction to the show. The fall vibes were in full swing, as light guitar picking looping over deep cello and harmonies kept the early crowd captivated.
