A hometown show on a snowy Saturday night in Ottawa was just what was needed for a packed Bronson Centre. Jamie Fine headlined one of her biggest shows in town, supported by Nicolina and Kassidy.
Fine seemed to be very excited to be kicking off her North American tour in Ottawa, with special guests and fun activities throughout the night. There was confetti, live matchmaking and even an on-stage proposal. New songs were debuted, and hits such as “If Anything’s Left” were scream-shouted by fans from the front row to the balcony.
Gatineau’s Kassidy had a short set but one that gave a welcomed introduction to his fantastic voice, reminiscent of the likes of Teddy Swims and Tom Walker.
Toronto’s Nicolina was next, who first made waves on American Idol and has since gone on to find her sound in pop grounded with raw, vulnerable lyrics that resonated with many in the crowd.
