Today marks the first day of Festival L’Outaouais en Fête, happening until June 24 at Parc des Cèdres (15 Rue Raoul-Roy, Gatineau).
With more than 40 years of programming, the Festival Outaouais en Fête is a grand celebration of Francophone culture in all its diversity. It’s a chance to come together, share local culture, and discover others from elsewhere.
Audiences this year can expect music performances for all tastes, featuring Shah Frank, The Mosus, Alfa Rococo, Alexandre Poulin, and more.
The whole family will have something to enjoy, with a Jack Sparrow show, a Junkyard Symphony, fireworks, creative workshops and more, all set throughout the festival.
FestiVie will also make an appearance at the festival on June 20 and 21, with its Dragon Boats setting sail to support the Quebec Cancer Foundation.
For a full list of activities, check out their website. Tickets can be purchased here, and will be more pricey at the door.
