United Way East Ontario is honouring Suzette Weekes with a Community Builder Award for her volunteerism, advocacy and dedication to mobilizing community initiatives.

Compassionate and caring community leader Deneise Davidson received a United Way East Ontario Community Builder Award in recognition for her volunteerism.

On the evening of Tuesday, May 28, United Way East Ontario visited downtown Ottawa’s YMCA with a special surprise in store for a member of Y’s Men International. The group was holding its monthly Service Club meeting when Davy Sabourin helped present long-time volunteer David Hall with a Community Builder Award.
