It was an energy-fuelled start to the weekend, as Rise Against headlined night three of CityFolk in commanding fashion.
Yet another perfect night in the books, and one of the hardest rocking ones in the 30 year history of the festival. If you’re still sore from the mosh pit or the crowd surfing, fret not, as today’s lineup is a perfect mix of pop and indie rock to enjoy a little less aggressively. The odds of a mosh pit breaking out are pretty low.
Night two of CityFolk transported fans back in time to a different era—full of flowing hair, elaborate costumes, and five-minute guitar solos.
Another glorious night of music in the books, and hopes that the weather continues to cooperate in making each of these festival nights some of the most enjoyable to date. With a growing number of artists each day, today marks the first with a full slate on each stage, with a wide divergence in genres between the main stage and the tent, so there’s bound to be a spot for everyone.
The nip in the air means two inevitabilities: the constant assault on our senses by pumpkin spice everything, as well as the last big festival of the season: CityFolk. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, this year’s edition features an eclectic mix of artists. Fear not, as we have you covered for all your festival needs. Keep checking apt613.ca for all your festival news, daily previews and pics!

The Riverside Festival, one of the most anticipated electronic music events in the region, kicked off its 2024 edition with an unforgettable night.
