Sunday night marked the fifth and final day of concerts at Lansdowne Park, as CityFolk completed the 2024 chapter of the festival. With Jason Isbell out due to illness, Maren Morris was bumped up into the headliner slot, allowing for a longer set for the rising star, which nobody was sad about.
A night of dancing ensued on day four of CityFolk, headlined by Milky Chance. The German pop-folk band were at their best, as the leading electric beats mixed with catchy hooks had most of the crowd off their feet.
After four straight days of perfect weather, the forecast for the grand finale today is just as ideal, so while organizers and fans might be rightfully disappointed that Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit won’t be able to perform, the conditions are still going to be perfect for those who will be closing out the festival.
