Apartment613 Community Initiatives is seeking new members to join its Board of Directors.
Apartment613, or Apt613, is a registered not-for-profit organization. Our main activity is apt613.ca, a hyper-local Ottawa arts and culture blog, named Best Community News Website by the Canadian Online Publishing Awards in four consecutive years, 2017–2020. It’s a platform for news and ideas, arts previews, podcasts and videos produced by hundreds of volunteer contributors since 2009. We also like to get out into the community by organizing events and talks.
We are continuing to diversify our board, which includes arts administrators, journalists and creative professionals. Apt613 is looking to recruit committed and dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors. Our goal is to ensure representation of a variety of communities.
