In beer news, Hogsback turns two and Beau’s is waiting for the first +18 degree weather to launch its new beer. With patio season approaching, Ryan and Karen chat about Ottawa’s best microbreweries and how some of the best ideas come up over beers.
If you get your best ideas from beer, then start drinking. Two of Ottawa’s breweries are holding contests. Beau’s is holding an amateur brewing competition and the winner’s beer will get made by Beau’s.
Kichesippi is holding a logo competition for their new beer, “Heller High Water.” They are looking for Ottawa theme and the prize is $500 in Kichesippi merchandise, beer and gift certificates.
Apartment 613 music writer and Scary Bear Soundtrack front woman Gloria Song stops by to chat Jazz Fest lineup and the festivals new venues.
Ryan and Karen play music from some of the best acts coming through Ottawa this April.
