SHHH!! Ensemble is a piano/percussion duo that explores the boundaries of music through creativity and playing with complex sounds. Pianist Edana Higham and percussionist Zac Pulak work together to educate and engage communities through presenting programmes and introducing contemporary music to new listeners.
Today, Chamberfest organizers announced their expanded lineup for the 2021 festival, and its rich with a diversity of music from across Canada and the globe, including local standouts and Juno Award-winning talent.
Just in time for the holidays, the Ottawa-based SHHH!! Ensemble duo, featuring Edana Higham on piano and Zac Pulak on marimba, created an adaptation of Tchaikovsky’s Russian Dance or “Trépak” from the Nutcracker Suite.
