Food for Thought (FFT) is an organization that provides free meals to those on low incomes and for whom preparing meals is a challenge. A former entrepreneur and executive, FFT’s founder and president Sylvain de Margerie has been volunteering for more than five years to put food on the table for those unable to do so themselves.

It feels like we’ve been dropped in the middle of a summer heatwave so this weekend is all about finding safe ways to stay cool.
“Although the risk remains low in Ottawa, we believe that this is in the best interest of everyone involved… in order to prevent any potential risk of transmission,” said the co-organizers in a written statement.
