In this liminal moment between Daylight Savings and the first day of spring we are presented with what looks like the perfect pre-spring weekend!
Orpheus Musical Theatre
BFFs: “If you’re a fan of the movie, or a fan of this era of hair bands, or just want a trip down memory lane, Rock of Ages is well worth it. You’ll leave tapping your foot, banging your head and grinning from ear to ear.”
Orpheus still has two shows left in their current season. Rock of Ages in early March and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder in May.
Every first Monday of the month, Apartment613 will publish the coolest #ottarts #ottjobs we hear about.
Based on the book by author Roald Dahl, Matilda the Musical tells the story of a special and talented girl stuck in a world where she is unnoticed and unappreciated.
With the entire book of the show being sung, and no spoken dialogue, Falsettos is definitely not a mainstream show. But we know musical lovers (nerds?) like us won’t want to miss their chance to see such a rare production of a more indie style show.
Break out your sequins and false lashes because Priscilla Queen of the Desert has driven in at Meridian Theatres at Centrepointe! Based on the 1994 film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the show stays true to the films comedic roots, outrageous costumes and over the top dance numbers.
Sister Act plays at Meridian Centrepointe Theatres until March 17.
As the end of this season nears, there’s still plenty to be excited about at Orpheus Musical Theatre
Orpheus Musical Theatre explains how the team goes about choosing their shows and talks about the two shows still coming this spring in their current season.
If this thrilling season seems too far away—don’t despair! The wonderful talent at Orpheus Theatre still have two shows left this season.
Orpheus Musical Theatre presented The Last Five Years at The Gladstone from November 1–3.
