French Canada’s top music awards are shining a bright light on Ottawa artists this year.

Shot at Bellwethers Vintage on Florence Street in Centretown, the fun new clip for Ottawa singer-songwriter Marie-Clo’s single “At Ease” takes us back to the swinging ’60s. Four fabulous, well-dressed women (including the singer herself) enjoy a day out shopping and dance around the store. It’s a great showcase for the cool, retro, laid-back vibe of the song.

Singer, songwriter, and dancer Marie-Clo began her artistic career with musical theatre. It was music, though, that was her true passion, so Marie-Clo made the decision to concentrate on that. As it turns out, that was a good decision.
