Lots of variety the next two weeks at the ByTowne and the Mayfair. My favourite film from 2021 continues its run, there are films from acknowledged masters and up-and-comers, and a big basket of free European short films. Rounding everything out are two exciting classics.
After a short week, we have arrived at what looks to be yet another nice weekend! Things are opening up a bit here in Ottawa and we can finally do things like see friends (outdoors, and at a distance), kick a ball around the soccer field, or play a few rounds of golf. There are also some other events taking place this weekend and Apt613 has the details for you below.
There are some new outdoor activities to enjoy this weekend. We are now able to kick a soccer ball around, play a round of disc golf, shoot some hoops, or pop an ollie at the skate parks. Picnics are also now a thing. While we agree that this is very exciting news, please make sure that you enjoy these newfound freedoms safely and respectfully, while keeping your distance from others.
You may not have even realized it, but here we are, May 2-4 again and turning a corner weather-wise right on time.
Admission is free and at 6:30pm the EU embassies serve complimentary food and drink samples.
