February may be a short month, but the weekends are making up for lost time by being chock full of fun things to do.
From Pride to House of PainT and everything in between, this weekend goes to show that even though summer is winding down, Ottawa is just as busy as ever.
Capital Pride has brought a series of signature events and community events to the festival this year, including two nights of free performances at the TD Mainstage located at the intersection of Bank and Somerset Streets. Read on to learn more about two of the headliners performing this weekend.

This weekend is promising a mixed bag of weather, but it also holds a wide variety of activities in and around the city. Movies and music and beer are readily available this weekend, but you don’t have to look very hard for other cool things to tickle your fancy as we all try to jam as much awesomeness as we can into our remaining summer days (and nights).
A new series of events will be taking place in Ottawa called Spill the Tea. These events combine drag artists with health information to help educate, end stigma, and reduce harm for the members of the PnP community. The first event will take place on August 23 at The 27 Club.
With the week of August 19th to 26th just around the corner, the 2018 theme for Capital Pride has been unveiled: CommUNITY. This year, they want to focus on individuals and organizations that support and improve the lives of LGBTQ2+ people.
