Fall schmall. There are still plenty of great activities to enjoy—even if you’re trying to avoid pumpkin spice everything and back-to-school traffic. (Not that there’s anything wrong with pumpkin spice.) Check it out and let us know what you explore this weekend!
Beyond Van Gogh
Many Ottawa-based music, arts, and performance festivals will receive increased financial support through a new Ontario government funding program. The one-time increase in funding to the festival and event sector will not only help people engage with art and their communities, but will also help festival networks in need of support.
The immersive Beyond Van Gogh lets you “become part of the art.” The projection show runs until Sept. 16 at the Aberdeen Pavilion.
COVID-19 cases are on the decline, vaccine rates are rising, and restrictions are easing in Ottawa. There is plenty to get out and enjoy this summer weekend in the city. From farmers’ markets, to vintage markets, live music, to art exhibits; there is a little something for everyone. Without further ado, here are the details on this weekend’s happenings.
