National Arts Centre executive chef Kenton Leier sits down with resident chef Renée Lavallée to talk about cooking philosophies, ingredients and influence from their home cities, and how one navigates a culinary career as a parent.
One sound recipe: Chef’s Table concert series at the NAC pairs amazing food with live music on the Rideau Canal
Spanning three weekends in September, the Chef’s Table series will showcase the work of well-versed Canadian culinary and musical creators. It takes place at the National Arts Centre’s 1 Elgin Restaurant terrace, overlooking the Rideau Canal.
The NAC’s mandate is to bring artists from all parts of Canada to the nation’s capital and show off their talents, and it’s great to see their restaurant getting in on that action.
