It’s been quite the past two years for live music and the world in general. And while there may have been a fairly massive dark cloud hanging over our heads, there have been silver linings that we can all focus on.
Although live music venues struggled to stay afloat amidst pandemic restrictions, necessity is the mother of invention, and some venues found innovative approaches to continue to host shows. Now that those restrictions are, for the most part, a thing of the past, those innovations can now thrive as we all get back to enjoying the events we missed.
One such innovation was Neat Coffee Shop’s Shed Sessions. One of our favourite venues pre-pandemic, Neat launched a series of outdoor shows, quite literally on the front stoop of their shed facing the parking lot. Show-goers could again enjoy live music, safely distanced, under open skies.

Keep an eye out for more previews and chats with some of these great Canadian artists as they drop by the Ottawa Valley for a memorable show or two!
