“Beautiful Lies” by Ash Ravens // Bangladesh-born, globetrotting alt-rock artist Ash Ravens graduated from the Los Angeles College of Music before finding himself down under in Australia. He’s new to town, having moved to Ottawa just this year, and by way of introduction has put out a new song. “Beautiful Lies” is the first song he’s written and recorded since moving to Canada. “Si tu veux tout savoir” by Céleste Lévis // New music alert for Céleste Lévis! The Franco-Ontarian singer-singwriter won a Capital Music Award earlier this year and has released two singles since then, including “Si tu veux tout savoir” (roughly translated: If you want to know everything). The title is synonymous with her forthcoming full length record, Si tu veux tout savoir. We want to hear everything! Can’t wait. [Website]

“Mi Santuario” by Sultans of String // The triple Juno Award-nominated band Sultan of Swing fuses Celtic, Flamenco, and Django-esque jazz with their artistic collaborators from all over their world. Their latest project is an entirely collaborative effort which will be released weekly for 12 weeks, each song recorded with a special guest. Kicking off the series is this unique collab with Juan Carlos Medrano. See here for the complete list of musicians on the new record, Sanctuary. [YouTube]
