Exciting theatre news! Ottawa’s favourite indie theatre festival is returning live and in person this spring. Undercurrents: theatre below the mainstream will run from April 20–30 at Arts Court.

The annual festival, produced by Ottawa Fringe, normally takes place in the winter, but was pushed back this year to allow for in-person performances. Its goal is to showcase the best independent and contemporary theatre being created by Ottawa performers and artists from across Canada. This year, the lineup includes eight exciting shows, including the Discovery Series, which features works by Fringe’s under-development residents.

Something in the Water, created and performed by S.E. Grummett. Photo provided.
Be sure to get your tickets for a theatre experience you won’t want to miss, and keep an eye out for show reviews here on the blog!
