The Ontario Festival of Small Halls is back with a series of six shows just in time for the holidays. As the name would suggest, the festival’s shows take place in small venues in rural Eastern Ontario, and this time they’ll visit Burritts Rapids, Athens, Pakenham, Chaffey’s Lock, Tweed, Westmeath, and… the National Arts Centre? Isn’t that a pretty BIG hall? That’s right: The festival has joined forces with the NAC to present three evenings of music there, featuring multiple artists on the Babs Asper and Southam Hall stages.

The six-show, star-studded lineup includes Juno Award winner Kellylee Evans, Royal Wood, Skydiggers, Matt Andersen, Jim Bryson, Fortunate Ones and Matt Mays.

“These intimate holiday shows are a chance to create special moments that turn into treasured holiday memories,” says Anna Wood, General Manager of the Ontario Festival of Small Halls, noting this is the fifth year the festival will bring holiday-themed performances to small, beloved venues.
