Maker Faire Ottawa is accepting submissions—09.29.18 & 09.30.18

By Greggory Clark on June 5, 2018

Did you miss last year’s Maker Faire? Or how about the first local event, which took place in 2010 and drew thousands of attendees. It’s easily Ottawa’s coolest show-and-tell.

For 2018, Maker Faire Ottawa is returning to the newly renovated Canada Science & Technology Museum—which, by the way, is everything you hoped for (and more) after a three-year, top-to-bottom transformation of the building.

Maker Faire Ottawa will be at the Canada Science & Technology Museum (1867 St. Laurent Blvd) on September 29 and 30, 2018. In a recent call for submissions organizers of the fair said this year’s event “promises to be the most spectacular showcase of human ingenuity and imagination this side of a giant mechanical dragon.”

The call for makers is now open and accepting submissions until August 15.
