Happy Goat to open shop in four LRT stations

By Philippe Ha on September 26, 2019

Our morning commute is about to get a whole lot brighter after the City of Ottawa announced that Happy Goat Coffee will be opening locations at four stations along the LRT‘s Confederation Line: Tunney’s Pasture, Rideau, Hurdman, and Blair.

While the new kiosks are expected to be smaller than their current locations, Happy Goat expects to have them all up and running by January 2020, serving coffee, tea, and baked goods.

This is a big day — a huge day — for all of us at Happy Goat Coffee Company. We are truly humbled to be Ottawa’s coffee shop of choice, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the experience of riders on Ottawa’s LRT.

“This is a big day — a huge day — for all of us at Happy Goat Coffee Company. We are truly humbled to be Ottawa’s coffee shop of choice, and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the experience of riders on Ottawa’s LRT. A huge thank you goes out to the HGCC team for the many hours put into this project, and to the City of Ottawa for partnering with us on this exciting project.” — Henry Assaad, President and CEO

The local roastery, which was crowned “Best Drip Coffee” at the 2019 Ottawa Coffee Fest, continues to expand its offerings as well as its reach across the city. With five cafés already in Sandy Hill, Hintonburg, Golden Triangle, Old Ottawa South, and the ByWard Market, where else would you like to see the goat?
