Canadian alt-rock icons, I Mother Earth brought a unique experience to Ottawa fans at the Bronson Centre on Friday night—an opportunity to see the band with Edwin, the band’s original vocalist, and Brian Byrne, who replaced him following his departure in 1997. Last night was the first time both vocalists have appeared with the band, which was a truly unique experience for longtime fans.
The first of two special shows, dubbed “All Four At Once”, the evening was a chance to see the band play through material from all four albums, with Edwin starting the show, followed by Byrne. Playing to a packed Bronson Centre, the band capably handled hits and deep cuts from their catalog with both singers, with fans enthusiastically singing along. Given the unique nature of the show, the band was also recording video for future release. The All Four at Once mini-tour continued with one more show, Saturday night in Toronto at The Phoenix.
