The Music Buffet with Rory Gardiner
by Rory Gardiner
Break Free Entertainment

60 min / Comedy, Concert, Solo / PG

I had no idea what to expect coming into this performance, but I’ve recently seen a Garth Brooks special where he sang songs and spoke a little about the origins and tour stories so, that is what kind of thought.

I was somewhat right with my guess and this was the perfect venue for an intimate performance from Rory Gardiner, who has been performing around the city for 20 years. This is a great chance to get to know a charming personality a little more. He played a bunch of great new songs from his album Be You and some very fun covers. Gardiner does so well interacting with the crowd and everyone there was having such a great time. He had great stories about being a father for a first time, being asked to play for free, meeting Kevin Nealon, and even his exciting foray into the world of yoga.

One thing I really noticed was how the sound was just perfect in the venue. The performer’s guitar was at a perfect level and his voice was crystal clear. You could easily hear every word he was saying, which was very nice. I highly recommend this one if you have enjoyed hearing Rory Gardiner play live before, want a great date night, or if you want to see it with a group. We have so much talent in this city, it is unbelievable. This is so well worth the money and you will not be disappointed.

The Music Buffet with Rory Gardiner is playing at La Nouvelle Scène Studio B (333 King Edward Ave) until Sunday June 24, 2018. Tickets cost $12 online and at the door. Visit for the show schedule and box office info.
