February 2 and 3

Make fun and easy puppets—on a budget. We supply puppet parts and play money, the kids make the puppets.

February 8

At 14:00, join us for a fascinating hour-long presentation: a behind-the-scenes look at the visual and thematic development of the new $10 bank note featuring Viola Desmond.  Note exchange to follow the presentation from 15:00–18:00.

February 9 and 10

See how tea bricks were made and then make your own tea brick.  At 11:00 and 14:00, there are two 1-hour workshops you can attend with a maximum of 25 participants each.

February 16, 17 and 18

Warm up with cedar tea while a Métis fur trapper answers your questions about Canada’s first economy. The Winterlude Ice Hogs will visit the Museum.
