One event on June 29, 2019 at 3:00 am

Welcome to Beyond the Pale’s first Live Music and Craft Beer festival. This is the ticket for both days of our LAUNCHPAD Event June 28th and 29th 2019.

June 28th 2019.

The doors will open at 7pm with the first act starting at 7.30pm. The show is being held in our event space and will be an unquie experience that we hope to grow into a year event!

We will have the following acts performing on this night.

Bearshark

A bear met a shark. Born in a river. Raised in the wood. Power blues-punk duo from Ottawa Canada.

The Dant Danners

This four piece space rock band from Ottawa, Ontario and are best enjoyed with a beer in hand!

Graven & The New Band with Vicki Brittle.

Growing up, once-rapper Nepean kid Matty ‘Graven’ McKechnie was a massive teen listener of J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.), Stephen Malkmus (Pavement), Bruce Springsteen, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Anne Murray and old school hip-hop. Having played in suburban garage bands since his mid-teens, he began to adapt and progress with the shifting musical terrain around him while still staying true to his idyllic influences. Graven’s songs are truly atmospheric, raw, passionate, personal and rare – and with a wild, rotating and circus-like band of hyper-talented individuals supporting and accenting him, his music generates interest and intensity.

June 29th 2019

The doors will open at 4pm with the first act starting at 4.30pm. The show is being held in our event space and will be an unquie experience that we hope to grow into a year event!

We will have the following acts performing on this night.

Lenny

a singer-songwriter currently based in MTL. Her folk-pop music is strongly focused on lyrics, melody & ALL the feelings! Lenny released her 1st single “Birthday” in January which is available on all streaming platforms.

Gentlemen of the Woods

We’re a five-man band from Ottawa, Ontario. We bring music from the hinterlands, where Americana sounds cross with Canadian folk tales. We write catchy songs with an old-timey feel and play them with heart, wit, and a deep sense of history.
On This Great Unknown, our second album, we reflect on themes of middle-age regret and optimism. Produced by Dave Draves at Little Bullhorn Studios, the album is 11 songs about bad choices and better days ahead, performed with all the band’s trademarks: memorable melodies, banjo clatter, rootsy rhythms, swaggering lead guitar, and soaring harmonies.

Jasper Bridges

Jasper Bridge is the singer songwriter alias of Ottawa guitarist Jeff Logan. The debut album ‘Love to a Wild Thing’ explores the theme of love; the songs are honest, heartfelt and vulnerable.

Performing in intimate venues as a solo artist on the road, the goal of the album was to stay true to the singer songwriter approach, and honestly portray the songs as they were written.

Jim Bryson

Jim Bryson is a Canadian “Singer Songer” and record maker. He has released 5 critically acclaimed solo recordings, the most recent being 2016’s Somewhere We Will Find Our Place, which made many a year end list here in Canada, notably Macleans and CBC Music Top 100 songs (2 songs on list).

In recent years, Jim has been recording and producing records for artist from all over in his Fixed Hinge Studio he built in 2013. Some names of note Jim has worked with include Oh Susanna, Little Scream, The Skydiggers and Kalle Mattson.

Oh and just cause you are asking, Jim also enjoys riding in the musical sidecar, having played and toured with Kathleen Edwards, The Weakerthans and The Tragically Hip.

Jim Lives with his partner and children in his old family homestead in Stittsville, Ontario.
