With the COVID-19 pandemic slowly winding down and more and more festivals slowly returning to Ottawa’s stages, it only makes sense that the city’s iconic CityFolk music festival would also be making a comeback.

CityFolk 2022 returns this September featuring a new partnership with TD Bank Group and a great list of Canadian and international talent.

“After many months of coming together virtually while being apart, we are thrilled to help bring so many talented artists and musicians to the TD Stage at CityFolk, live and in-person in Ottawa this September,” says Tara-Lynn Hughes, Senior Vice President, TD Bank Group, in their press release.

In the press release, Mark Monahan, the executive director for CityFolk, says the festival’s return has been a long time coming and ensures fans that it will be worth the long wait.

“We’re grateful for the ongoing support we’ve seen over the years and we hope that this year’s high-end slate of performers will be viewed as a reward for the patience music fans in Ottawa have shown in recent years,” writes Monahan.
