Rodriguez, Father John Misty, Jack Johnson, Amanda Marhsall, Bahamas, and many more will perform at Lansdowne Park in September.

CityFolk organizers have unveiled the festival’s 2017 lineup. Broken Social Scene, Father John Misty, Rodriguez, and Jack Johnson are among the biggest name acts headlining concerts on the Great Lawn at Lansdowne Park from September 13–17.

Acclaimed children’s performer Fred Penner has been invited to play the festival for a second year straight. As for other Canadian content, the 2017 lineup includes alt-folk songwriter Bahamas, JUNO Award winner Rose Cousins, East Coast rocker Matt Mays, Toronto’s Common Deer, and Winnipeg’s Royal Canoe.

“Several of these acts have been on our wish list for quite a few years now,” said executive and artistic director Mark Monahan in an email.

More than 25 acts have been announced so far, with more to come. Expect dozens to be added between now and September, as the artists participating in CityFolk’s annual Marvest Series have yet to be announced.

Tickets and passes are on sale now. Prices range from $56.50 for a day pass to $146 for a full festival pass available at
