City of Ottawa offering assistance to people affected by storm

By Apartment613 on May 26, 2022

In Ottawa, tens of thousands of people are still without power after last weekend’s storm, which left, at its peak, over 180,000 people in the dark. Others are without Internet or are still cleaning up after the storm, and 33 tonnes of food waste has been collected.

If you or somebody you know are one of the 45,000 Ottawa-area residents still without utilities, please check out the City of Ottawa’s list of resources for residents in need. The list provides information for food resources, day program services (including showers), and the contact information for the Human Needs Task Force.

Consult the list of City resources here.
