This Friday, July 15th, join BEING Studio for a night of fame, films, and disability arts, hosted from 6-9pm at Club SAW!
BEING Studio is proud to announce the Glamour Ball: Screening and Fundraiser event featuring six short films made by BEING artists and a documentary made about the studio. Located in the Bronson Centre in Ottawa, they are a community of artists with developmental disabilities. At BEING, artists have access to the space, the tools, and the representation to create and commercialize their visual art and creative writing. BEING holds both in-studio and virtual programming.

Produced with support from ARTicipate, the July 15 event will feature artists Jessie Huggett, Jake Riseborough, Ada Chan and documentarian Matthew Delaney. Each artist created and acted in an original film made with creativity and ingenuity. The Glamour Ball Screening will include premiering them, followed by a Q + A with the artists and producers.
This event is a fundraiser for BEING, so there will also be a silent auction, door prize, and a VIP red carpet experience! Please join us to help celebrate the work of BEING artists, while supporting the studio and our hybrid programming.
