Jennifer Carole Lewis

Book Reviewer

Jennifer Carole Lewis is a full-time mom, a full-time administrator and a full-time writer of paranormal romance, which means she is very much interested in speaking to anyone who comes up with any form of functional time-travel devices or practical cloning methods. She recently published her second novel in the lalassu series, about a secret society of superpowered individuals living among us. She is a member of the Ottawa Romance Writers’ Association and the Romance Writers of America. Without them, she would still be dreaming about being a writer rather than sharing her books with readers. She believes in both conspiracy theories and happily-ever-afters, which makes for some interesting dinner time conversations. She is a devoted comic book geek and Marvel movie enthusiast. She spends far too much of her precious free time watching TV, especially police procedural dramas. Her enthusiasm outstrips her talent in karaoke, cross-stitch and jigsaw puzzles. She is a voracious reader of a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction and always enjoys seeking out new suggestions.

Murder, intrigue and intimidation balance loyalty, romance and some pure old-fashioned grit in a race guaranteed to get […]

Jennifer Carole Lewis is an author of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. Find her at her website, on Facebook, or on Twitter.  You can see Lewis’ review of Chameleon, the first book in this series, here. Write On Ottawa: A love story you’ll root for

If you read my reviews, you know that I am a sucker for a good love story.  And The Hungry Heart by Brenda Gayle definitely falls into that category.  Book One in her Heart’s Desire series, it’s a contemporary romance with suspense and lots of drama to keep the pages turning. The hero, Hunter Graham, […]

Write On Ottawa: Thrills on Ice, the tale of a figure skater’s climb out of darkness

It’s hard to imagine a more Canadian novel than a romance featuring a professional figure skater and hockey player, set in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Aurelia Osborne delivers a compelling portrait of Susanna Miles’s struggle to reclaim her life as well as her career in Thrills on Ice. Susanna returns to Winnipeg at the urging of her controlling mother-manager […]
