On top of an impressive concert lineup, the 2017 festival combines farm-to-table meals, all-night cinema, bonfires, DJ parties and a swimming pond.
“We’re moving. On déménage.” That was the title of an Arboretum Festival teaser video posted to Facebook in February. With the lineup announcement this week came news of a new location at Rideau Pines Farm.
By car, the rural spot is about 25 minutes outside of Ottawa. But why drive when you can ride Arboretum’s pizza bus? (A perk for passholders.) It’s a change of pace for the independent festival in its sixth year. #6intheSticks.
Cadence Weapon, DIANA, Un Blonde, Cedric Noel and TOPS are among the artists who will perform on a hand-built stage in the forest at Rideau Pines Farm, where there’s even the option to pick your own fruit and vegetables all weekend long.
