Health is on the menu this fall at the Ottawa Public Library!

Is this the year you want to learn how to cook healthy meals? How to eat well on a budget? How to cook once and eat for days? You’re in luck!

As part of its food literacy project, à la carte, the Ottawa Public Library will host registered dieticians from Loblaws who will share their expertise in nutrition at several programs in OPL branches throughout the city this November. These programs are free for all Ottawa Public Library customers.

Heart-healthy Eating (English only)
Thursday, November 10, 6:30 p.m.
Carlingwood (281 Woodroffe)

In this class led by Registered Dietitian Chantal from Loblaws, you will learn how to manage your heart health by lowering your cholesterol and managing your sodium intake. We will also explore the variety of foods you can add to your diet to improve your heart health!
