Fun did not miss Ottawa this weekend! Whether people are just getting into the Halloween festivities, looking for more a more artsy evening, or want to party all night long there’s something for everyone!
Vixens Victorious Ottawa is hosting a Lights, Camera, Cure, a film festival featuring Ottawa filmmakers at the Centrepointe Studio Theatre from 5:30-10:30pm. All proceeds will benefit the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
The Uncork the Cure fundraiser is an awesome opportunity for wine lovers to indulge in various brands of wine while supporting cystic fibrosis research. The event will take place at the Industria Brasserie from 6-10pm. Tickets are available online.
With a live 9-piece band and a dope DJ closing the night at Babylon Nightclub, Fiesta Cubana is a party you might regret missing. Doors open at 8pm and the party won’t stop until 11:30pm.
Turning Tricks: Comedy Magic Show is the magic show for adults! Audience members can expect to become the stars of the show and have lots of laughs while being astonished by some magic tricks. This is definitely a unique event for the Halloween season.
The FarmFemme Exhibit will showcase a collaborative and complex project concerned with self exploration as well as place, symbolism and materiality. It will include a reception and bar. All guests must RSVP online.
Bling Evo will show you how to express yourself through Jamaican culture at the Pyro Techs Dancehall Workshop. This workshop is bound to be an unforgettable experience!
Here’s a laid back event to ease folk into the Halloween spirit and festivities! Prime Burger Bar hosts an open mic every Friday night. Sign up is at 9:30pm for performers or stop by at 10pm to listen to the regulars do their thing!
Flying Squirrel Ottawa is trying something new this weekend and adding a little 90s flare to their Neon Lights Night. Everyone is encouraged to dress the part for this special edition event!

This is the last chance to see 5 independent theatre makers debut original 20-minute pieces at the Arts Court Studio.
